GOTHENBURG
Stockholm isn't the only vibrant metropolis in Sweden! Gothenburg hosts some of the most major events in Scandinavia, such as the Gothenburg Film Festival and the Way Out West music festival. It also boasts the largest port in Scandinavia, and the themes of water and trade are reflected throughout the city. The oceanic climate provides a mild environment for exploration throughout the year. For the ultimate Scandinavian cultural experience, check out Fiskhallen, an indoor fish market in the city center. You'll have plenty to do in Gothenburg between the local museums, restaurants, and the famous Liseberg amusement park.

BERGEN
As the second biggest city in Norway, Bergen represents the natural beauty of the country as well as the fresh liveliness of its inhabitants. Despite its relatively large size (for Scandinavian standards!), it still has a friendly, small-town vibe. The city center is embraced by mountains and punctuated by fjords. There are many students in the area, contributing to the city's young, creative environment. For one of the best photographic opportunities of your trip, take the Floybanen Funicular up to Mount Floyen, where you'll be able to admire beautiful Bergen from an entirely new perspective.

HELSINKI
No trip to Scandinavia is complete without a stop in Helsinki. It is the social and creative hub of Finland, and you'll be astounded by the vast variety of attractions here. Relax in the Esplanade Park, find inspiration in the Design District or at the Ateneum Art Museum, get in touch with your spirituality at Helsinki Cathedral or the Kamppi Chapel of Silence.  Helsinki is also Finland's political center, and the architecture of Senate Square and Parliament will evoke patriotic feelings in any visitor. If you're traveling with kids, the Helsinki Zoo is a great option for a fun and educational adventure. Established in 1889, it's one of the world's oldest zoos, and it houses almost 200 different types of animals.

COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen is the quintessential Danish tourist location in your Scandinavian voyage, featuring picturesque canals lined with cheerful townhouses, iconic pieces of art, and impressive government buildings that have been home to some of the most important political and royal events in Denmark's history. Be sure to stop by the Botanical Garden and its incredible Palm House, a celebration of nature that blossoms in the center of the city. Shopaholics will be spoiled for choice in Strøget, one of the longest pedestrian streets in all of Europe. Between the museums, palaces, and scenic waterways, Copenhagen will keep you enthralled throughout the duration of your stay.

OSLO
The capital of Norway will certainly be a highlight of your Scandinavian adventure. The city is bursting with parks, shops, and personality. The Viking Ship Museum is a must-see attraction, featuring incredibly well-preserved Viking ships and artifacts from Viking tombs. History buffs will love Akershus Fortress, which has endured many sieges and transformations since its completion in the 1300s. The Holmenkollen Ski Museum represents more than 4000 years of Norwegian polar history – along with being an architectural marvel with panoramic views of the city. There's something for everyone in Oslo, and there are plenty of experienced tour guides readily available to show you around.
